Radamel Falcao (AS Monaco)
Though Chelsea may well be closing in on a deal to sign Atletico Madrid man Diego Costa the player Jose Mourinho should be targeting is Colombian Radamel Falcao.
Costa has had one good season, and 36 goals in one campaign is an excellent tally, however is a player who has more than proven himself in Argentina, Spain, Portugal and France and the 28 year old would be a far more worthy player to lead the Chelsea line and the former Vicente Calderon star may be open to a move to west London.
Falcao followed up 72 goals in two seasons with FC Porto with 70 in the space of two campaigns in La Liga and then netted 11 goals in 19 appearances for AS Monaco before he was sidelined with a knee injury.
