Six Semifinalists Who Could Be On The Move After The World Cup: Arsenal & Chelsea Deals Included

Spurs, Man United, City and Real Madrid also feature.

Friday and Saturday saw Germany, Brazil, Argentina and the Netherlands book their places in the last four of the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

All 92 players within the four 23-man squads will have nothing but international glory on their minds right now.

However, once the World Cup is over, they will switch their focus to club matters, with many of them the subject of transfer speculation.

We identify six players who we think could be on the move once their nation’s World Cup campaigns are over.

Joel Veltman – Netherlands

Linked with Tottenham and Arsenal

Defender Veltman has only received 15 minutes of game time so far at the World Cup, where his single appearance came as a sub in the Netherlands’ 5-1 win over Spain.

However, the 22-year-old featured much more frequently for club Ajax last season, starting 24 Eredivisie games.

Veltman would be a great addition for Spurs or Arsenal, both of whom are keen.
