“Today @juanferquinte10 travelled to England to sign a contract with Arsenal who are paying 20m Euros (around £15.8m) to FCPorto, congratulations!” translated the Daily Mail.
Quintero, who is 21 years of age, is a hugely exciting talent who is capable of playing across the attacking midfield line.
His tremendous left foot is a valuable asset from both open play and set pieces, and that coupled with his flair and skill on the ball has earned him comparisons with his fellow Colombian at Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, Real Madrid’s new signing James Rodriguez.
If Quintero can have anywhere close to the same impact at Emirates Stadium as his compatriot has in his short career so far, Arsenal will have unearthed a tremendous talent.
