Marouane Fellaini’s transfer to Napoli moves closer
The Belgium international is set to end his Old Trafford nightmare as the Serie A club close in on a deal for the midfielder, according to Gazzetta dello Sport.
Fellaini has been deemed surplus to requirements with the 13-time Premier League champions by new manager Louis van Gaal and the Dutchman is prepared to let the 26-year-old leave on-loan.
As yet though Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis and the Red Devils have failed to reach an agreement over how much of the Belgian’s wages the Italian club should pay.
