Not one typically known for his output in front of goal, his true calling is laying on opportunities for others, which he has done with aplomb for Los Galacticos during his time there. He began life with a bang at the Bernabeu, but his second term saw his influence diminish before bringing it back with a half century of appearances in his last two campaigns. Having already made one appearance this season, he is now expected to join Manchester United where he will team up with Juan Mata and free him up to take up a more favoured central role.
