Five Strikers Who Could Make Moves On Transfer Deadline Day

Posted by

3. Javier Hernandez

The Manchester United front man appears to be getting fed with life at Old Trafford after four years at the club. In that time, Hernandez has been a success, scoring 37 Premier League goals for the Red Devils. Unfortunately, the Mexican striker has scored most of those goals from the bench. Hernandez has been frustrated at the lack of first team opportunities at Old Trafford for awhile but it appears that now he has reached the point where he feels like he needs to leave the club.

Several sides are reportedly interested in Hernandez signature with Juventus and Real Madrid thought to be front runners. Hernandez goal poaching abilities would add quality to both of these sides however, it is unknown whether he would get more first team opportunities at either of those European giants than he has at Manchester United. His departure could also depend on the future of fellow United striker Danny Welbeck. If Welbeck leaves, Hernandez may have to remain at Old Trafford as manager Louis Van Gaal won’t want to lose both strikers on transfer deadline day.
