Dortmund contract rebel would fit in at Arsenal.Borussia Dortmund star Marco Reus should choose Arsenal as his next club ahead of rivals Liverpool and Manchester United, according to a poll conducted by the Daily Mirror.
The German international is reported to have rejected a contract offer from the Bundesliga giants, leading to strong speculation that he will be leaving the club in next summer’s transfer window.
Real Madrid may be favourites to land the 25-year-old after supposedly agreeing a deal in principle for him to complete a move to the Bernabeu ahead of other top European clubs.
However, Premier League sides are said to be on alert for Reus as he ponders his future, with Liverpool and United desperate to get their hands on this world class attacking midfield player.
Still, 46% of fans have voted and seem to believe Reus would fit in best at Arsenal, with Arsene Wenger’s side deploying a technically skilled attack-minded game which could be ideally suited to the former Borussia Monchengladbach man.
Although the Gunners already have attacking players such as Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Santi Cazorla to choose from in that role, there’s no doubt Reus would make a great signing for the north London giants.
