In their last twenty games away against sides who eventually finished in the top five that same season, Arsenal have won just once and lost a staggering 16 times, with three draws.
Arsenal were notably thrashed on the road to the big sides on a number of occasions last season, losing 6-0 to this weekend’s opponents during their last trip to their London rivals, whilst also losing 6-3 to Manchester City and 5-1 to Liverpool at Anfield. They also maintained an awful run against Manchester United, losing 1-0 at Old Trafford despite the club only finishing 7th under David Moyes’ unsuccessful reign.
