Real Madrid want David de Gea as a replacement for Iker Casillas
During Spain’s surprise 2-1 loss to Slovakia in their Euro 2016 qualifier on Thursday there was another gaffe from ‘keeper Casillas and many are calling for the captain to be dropped.
Madrid are also considering axing their skipper and according to Marca are lining up United stopper de Gea as a replacement for the 33-year-old.
The former Atletico Madrid man is understood to be interested in a move to the Estadio Santiago Bernabeu, but would want to be assured of regular game time.
