Radamel Falcao’s great-grandfather was a Yorkshireman
As mad as it sounds it is true as Falcao even tried to obtain a British passport aged 13 due to his roots in the country.
As the Daily Mail reports, the 28-year-old grew up travelling around Colombia and Venezuela with his footballer father and appears to be South American through and through – but all is not as it seems.
“I’m proud of my English blood. My grandfather was English and also a sportsman,” Falcao said.
