Liverpool and Arsenal are both keen on the French international who has seen his first team chances limited since moving to PSG back in January and is keen on a move back to the Premier League.

PSG paid Newcastle United £20m for Cabaye but Laurent Blanc doesn’t appear to see the cultured midfielder as a first choice and as such the Ligue 1 side may well be open to offers for the 28 year old.

Cabaye has started six of PSG’s 12 Ligue 1 fixtures this season and was subbed on four of those occasions and could well be tempted by a move to Arsenal.

Arsene Wenger may see Cabaye as an ideal long term replacement for veteran skipper Mikel Artea and the player’s Premier League experience would certainly prove a motivating factor for the north London side.
