Reds one of many clubs chasing Villa contract rebel.
Liverpool are ready to join the likes of Tottenham Hotspur and Everton in the chase for Aston Villa midfielder Fabian Delph after he stated his decision to quit the club, according to the Daily Telegraph.
The England international has been a highly impressive performer for Paul Lambert’s side in recent times and now looks set to move on to a bigger club after rejecting the offer of a new contract at Villa Park.
Delph has supposedly informed the club that he has no intention of committing his future to the team, and Liverpool will hope to pounce as he could move on a free transfer at the end of this season.
Villa have been in desperately poor form so far this season and it is no surprise to see one of their best players seeking an exit, with the talented 24-year-old now likely to have plenty of suitors as he ponders his next club.
Delph has recently won three caps for England and scored four goals for Aston Villa last season as he put his injury problems behind him to fulfill the tremendous potential initially seen in him as a youngster.
