CM: Etienne Capoue – 5/10
Got plenty of the ball, but very few of his touches were positive. Defensively, Capoue has been one of Tottenham’s best players in recent weeks, but Stoke’s men in the middle got the better of him today. He was replaced by Emmanuel Adebayor on 65 minutes.
CM: Ryan Mason – 6/10
Marginally better than Capoue, but outshone by all of Stoke’s midfielders nonetheless.
AM: Andros Townsend – 5/10
Looked bereft of ideas, as Stoke starved him of space. Townsend, did not dribble past an opponent once, before being subbed off for Mousa Dembele at half time.
