Emirates Stadium side offered chance to sign in-form striker.
AS Roma are looking to find a buyer for prolific forward Mattia Destro and have reportedly offered Arsenal the chance to sign the 23 year old according to the Metro.
The Stadio Olimpico side want £15m for the Italian international with Rudi Garcia keen to sell the player despite his impressive goal-scoring return.
Last term Destro finished as AS Roma’s top-scorer despite starting just 14 Serie A fixtures, during which he racked up 13 goals, and this season the lethal finisher has grabbed four goals in seven starts though perhaps Arsene Wenger would be better placed looking to sign a defender and not another striker?
New signings Danny Welbeck and Alexis Sanchez have impressed since arriving at the north London club and Arsene Wenger also has the likes of Olivier Giroud, Lukas Podolski, Theo Walcott and Yaya Sanogo to fill roles in the final third and as such the Arsenal boss may pass up the option of a move for Destro, who can no doubt do an excellent job for other prospective suitors.
