Parc des Princes side target Stamford Bridge striker.
PSG are reportedly readying a move for Chelsea striker Diego Costa as the Ligue 1 side look for a long term replacement for Zlatan Ibrahimovic according to the Daily Star.
Such a move seems hugely unlikely given Jose Mourinho only brought in the 26 year old Brazilian born Spanish international in a £32m deal over the summer.
Costa has started well since moving to Stamford Bridge, bagging 12 goals in 13 Premier League starts, and the timing of this story is more than a little suspect as it comes just hours after PSG draw Chelsea in the Champions League draw.
Veteran Swede Ibrahimovic has 18 months to run on his current deal and will indeed be a tough act to follow though Laurent Blanc does possess Uruguayan Edinson Cavani, who may well be ideally suited to filling the 33 year old’s boots.
Though Ibrahimovic is clearly in the latter stages of his career he is certainly showing no signs of a loss in form with the former Ajax, Juventus, Barcelona, Inter Milan and AC Milan man having racked up an astonishing 88 goals in 104 appearances since moving to the French capital.
