Bayern Munich Could Sign Arsenal Midfield Target ‘To Get Even’

Bayern plot controversial transfer move.

Bayern Munich are reportedly only chasing the signing of Real Madrid midfielder and Arsenal target as a revenge move against the Spanish giants, according to Marca.

The Bundesliga champions supposedly still hold a grudge against Real for their signing of German international playmaker Toni Kroos in the summer, a move which surprised the club given his rise in the first-team setup at the Allianz Arena.

Although Bayern do not particularly need another signing in midfield after moving for Xabi Alonso in the summer, they are keeping an eye on Khedira’s situation at the Bernabeu as the 27-year-old ponders his future and stalls on signing a new contract with the Spanish giants.

This could see Arsenal miss out on one of their priority midfield targets, though the Gunners have also been linked with a few more names in recent times as Arsene Wenger looks to fix what has become a problem position for his side this season.
