The 25 year old Welsh winger has been strongly linked with a move to Man United but president Florentino Perez has stated categorically that the former Tottenham man would not be going anywhere, stating;

“We have not received an offer from Manchester or any other club for Gareth Bale. We would never listen to any offer for Bale, no matter what the fee.”

Bale has been an unqualified success since moving to the Spanish capital, last term netting 22 goals including efforts in both the Copa del Rey and Champions League finals, and has racked up 11 goals this term and played a key role in the club’s astonishing 22 match winning streak.

Louis van Gaal successfully lured Angel di Maria away from Real Madrid over the summer but a repeat move to conduct a raid of the La Liga leaders seems unlikely to say the least.
