Reports of the Argentine’s unhappiness at the club have been growing in recent weeks, with his boss at the centre of the problems. Premier League leaders Chelsea have been rumoured to be wanting to take advantage of this situation with a move for the forward.
The situation seems to have worsened since the Catalan club’s 1-0 loss to David Moyes’ Real Sociedad on the weekend. The 27-year-old started on the bench for the match before being brought on at half time, and the star wants to start more games than he currently does.
SPORT had claimed that the three captains of the club, Xavi, Andres Iniesta, and Sergio Busquets agreed to talk to Messi in order to try and remedy the situation. The meeting will take place on Wednesday.
