Arsenal look set to face increased competition in their bid to sign Real Madrid midfielder Sami Khedira as Paris Saint-Germain join the running for him this January, according to Spanish source Fichajes.net.

The German international has long been linked with an exit from the Bernabeu as he continues to turn down offers of a new contract with the club, with his current deal set to expire at the end of this season, making him a free agent in the summer.
Khedira could wait until the next transfer window to move on a free, or he may be able to move on the cheap this winter, with around £7.8m thought to be enough to tempt Real into letting him go.
PSG are the latest club to show a strong interest in the experienced 27-year-old, who won the Champions League with Madrid and the World Cup with Germany in a memorable 2014.
PSG have lured some of the world’s biggest names to the Parc des Princes in recent years and Khedira would be another superb swoop for the club.
