Henry is to sit in the hot seat as a pundit for Sky when his former Arsenal side take on Manchester City in what will be his first appearance for the organisation since his retirement from football.
Henry signed a multi-million pound deal with the British broadcaster and could be raking in as much as £24 million over a six year period.
And his expensive contract has led to a snide dig on Twitter from the broadcaster’s former presenter Richard Keys who left the organisation in disgrace following a sexism row in 2011.
Keys said: “Glenn Hoddle joins us all on BeIN Sports today. Good luck to Thierry Henry. Sorry we couldn’t make it work here but he just wanted too much.”

Henry joins Sky Sports’ impressive team of former professionals which includes the likes of Gary Neville and Jamie Carragher but the Arsenal legend’s wages are said to dwarf the two with Henry taking in nearly three times as much as Neville every year.
