New Villa boss speaks about offer from QPR.
Aston Villa’s new manager Tim Sherwood has revealed why he decided to turn down an offer to take over as manager of Queens Park Rangers.
Speaking at his unveiling at Villa Park on Monday morning, the former Tottenham Hotspur boss explained that in the end neither party felt it was the right move for them.
Sherwood on #qpr: “There was a chance. It was a good opportunity. We discussed it and decided it probably wasn’t right for either party”

Sherwood replaces Paul Lambert at Villa, with a brief spell at Spurs last season his only top flight experience as a manager.
