Blues boss attacked by French media prior to Tuesday night’s encounter.

The French press has gone on the offensive ahead of Chelsea’s clash with Ligue 1 side PSG with the Guardian reporting that France Football has elected to dub Blues boss Jose Mourinho as “l’emmerdeur professionnel”, which loosely translates as ‘the Shit Stirrer’.

One might deem such a term as not entirely inaccurate, not least as Mourinho has moved to point out that the Parc des Princes side twice attempted to lure him to the French capital, a move that cleverly undermines current manager Laurent Blanc.

Chelsea take on PSG in the last 16 of the Champions League having overcome the French giants in last season’s quarter-finals, though not before the West London side had fallen to a 3-1 defeat in the away leg, and Mourinho will be keen to avoid such a reverse on Tuesday night.

Mourinho will have Diego Costa back for the clash and should have both Oscar and Cesc Fabregas to call upon though both midfielders are apparently recovering from slight injuries.

PSG on the other hand lost four players to injury in their 2-2 draw with Caen over the weekend with Serge Aurier, Yohan Cabaye and Lucas Moura definitely unavailable whilst Javier Pastore, Marquinhos, Thiago Motta, Maxwell and Blaise Matuidi are all also doubtful.
