Chelsea fans have been slammed by journalists from around the world…
The Chelsea supporters accused of racially abusing a man at a train station ahead of their side’s Champions League match with Paris Saint Germain, have been slammed by journalists and pundits across the world.
According to reports on Sky Sports, the fans chanted “we’re racist and that’s the way we like it”. Chelsea quickly responded with their own statement, condemning the behaviour: “Such behaviour is abhorrent and has no place in football or society.”
“We will support any criminal action against those involved, and should evidence point to involvement of Chelsea season-ticket holders or members the club will take the strongest possible action against them, including banning orders.”
Here’s how Twitter reacted:

It is easy to condemn the 'racist" Chelsea supporters, but we must also try to understand their alienation and our part in it. #nowemustnt
