Blues lead chase for world class midfielder.
Chelsea are supposedly leading the chase for Juventus midfielder Paul Pogba after Manchester United cooled their interest, according to the Daily Express.
The Blues want to bring the Frenchman to Stamford Bridge next season, and may be willing to pay the £80m required to prize him away from the Italian giants.
United, however, are unwilling to spend so much on a player they lost for free earlier in his career, with Louis van Gaal now focusing instead on bringing in AS Roma playmaker Kevin Strootman in that position.
Real Madrid have also been linked with Pogba, who has become one of the most in-demand young players in the world in recent times.
