The store is located in Mexico City in the Zocolo district. Last Thursday hundreds of people gathered in the surrounding streets ready for the grand opening.
Hugo Sánchez was presented as the guest of honour during the inauguration event, joining the Spanish Ambassador to Mexico Luis Fernández Pumariño on the stage.
“It gives me great pleasure to see Mexican players in each of the teams I had the opportunity to play for, Real Madrid, Atletico and Rayo Vallecano,” said Sanchez. “Chicharito has made all Mexicans proud, I hope he receives more opportunities and playing time”.
