Red Devils switch focus to PSG ace.
Manchester United have been linked with a move to sign Paris Saint-Germain right-back Gregory van der Wiel as an alternative to Real Madrid-bound Danilo, according to Fichajes.net.
The Red Devils are on the market for a new signing at right-back this summer, with Louis van Gaal keen to replace Rafael and Antonio Valencia in that position.
Danilo had been on United’s radar, but the Porto man has reportedly agreed to join Real Madrid in the summer, leaving the Premier League giants to look at van der Wiel.
The Dutchman has shown plenty of promise as an attack-minded full-back and could suit United’s style of play under van Gaal perfectly.
