The Belgian striker got himself back on the scoresheet as Villa beat local rivals West Brom to claim their first victory since December.

However, he missed the clash with the Baggies in Saturday’s FA Cup quarter final with a hip injury, but Sherwood has given the club a huge boost by confirming that he is back in training and will be included in Saturday’s squad.

“He’s still feeling it but he’ll be in the squad,” revealed Sherwood.

“We’ll give him as much time as we can to get fit but we changed it around against West Brom and the boys who came in and did well.”
