Alex Lacazette appeared to have returned to top form last weekend when he hit two as Olympique Lyonnais smashed Montpellier-Herault 5-1 on Sunday.
The forward has endured an injury-hit start to 2015.
He faced hamstring trouble at the end of January, before returning to encounter thigh problems at the beginning of February.
The striker failed to find the net in matches against LOSC Lille and Nantes, before returning with aplomb against Montpellier.
So far, in 2015, he has bagged six goals in six games.
“I feel better even if I’m not perfect,” said Lacazette, speaking to France Football.
“Physically, I am rediscovering my feelings. It’s in progress. I have advanced well. For me, the most important thing is to rediscover my sensations, the interaction and the combinations with my teammates.
“After [returning], I knew that goals would naturally flow with all of my chances.”
