The on-loan star has been a key figure for Villa since joining from Man City, where he has endured a nightmare two-and-a-half year spell.
Sinclair has bagged himself three goals in five appearance since Tim Sherwood took over, and even notched the second goal in the FA Cup quarter final victory over West Brom to secure the club’s path to Wembley.
“Has he a future here beyond the summer if he continues to perform? Yes – and I think he is eager to do that,” said Sherwood.
“It is a huge club, he realises that. He obviously wants to play in the Premier League, as we do, so it is something that can be discussed once we are safe – in a couple of weeks!”
