The England No.1 had arguably the performance of his life, where he single handedly kept Man City in the encounter as Barca relentlessy pressed for more goals – he was sensational.
RB) Stephan Lichtsteiner
Launched a number of counter attacks for Juvenutus in what was an outstanding European display from the Old Lady. The Swiss international also kept Marco Reus quiet, which is a credible feet.
CB) Leanardo Bonucci
Leader at the back for Juve as the threat of Pierre Aubameyang’s pace was thwarted by the experience of the Italian.
CB Gerard Pique
After a difficult season, it is fair to say that the real Pique has returned.
LB) Jordi Alba
Involved in a spat with Samir Nasri early, but didn’t let it distract him from the task in hand, constantly bursting down the left-hand side.
