SC Bastia are reportedly interested in Nantes goalkeeper Remy Riou.
The Corsicans have enjoyed the services of Alphonse Areola between the sticks this season, but the goalkeeper is only on loan at the Stade Furiani and will likely return to parent club Paris Saint-Germain at the end of the season.
According to France Football, Bastia coach Ghislain Printant is eyeing Riou as a replacement at the season’s end.
The 27-year-old has been at Nantes since 2012 and has featured 23 times for the Canaries this season. Previously, he had stints with Toulouse, Auxerre and Lorient, having started his career with Olympique Lyonnais.
The former France U21 international is coming to the end of his contract in June and would be able to move to Bastia on a free transfer.
Bastia endured a dreadful start to the season under former Real Madrid and Chelsea midfielder Claude Makelele, but have rediscovered their form under Printant and currently sit in 12th position.
