The young attacking midfielder netted Brazil’s winner during Sunday’s friendly win over Chile at the Emirates Stadium and if the Gunners interest in the 23 year old is to be believed then one imagines scouts from the north London side were in attendance.

Firmino has been a hugely influential performer in the German top tier over the past two campaigns, racking up 22 goals and 18 assists in 59 appearances in Bundesliga alone, and one can well see why the former Figueirense man would be attracting the attention of Europe’s ‘Elite’.

The Daily Star also suggest Man United are keen on Firmino with German daily Bild confirming the player is 90% certain to leave Hoffenheim this summer.
