Couldn’t get his foot on the ball to have as much influence as he’d like. His quality deserted him when put under as much pressure as he was today.
Harry Kane – 6
Came back down to earth with a bump today after battling hard all day, but nothing coming off for him. Burnley played him absolutely perfectly and he will be frustrated.

Ben Davies – 6
Came on shortly after half-time and was involved in a Tottenham back four reshuffle in which he covered for Rose, who was nowhere to be seen. Without him, they may have been going back to White Hart Lane with nothing.
Erik Lamela – 5
Found the physicality of the game hard to handle, like many, and struggled to create the spark he was brought on for.
Andros Townsend – 5
Like Lamela, delivered very little after being brought on close to the end.
