Manchester City are reportedly ready to offload two players in a swap deal with Juventus as they look to win the race to sign former Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba.
The Premier League champions are desperate to improve their squad after a difficult season, which could see them finishing as low as fourth place after a surprisingly poor run of form towards the end of this season.
It is widely acknowledged that City have an ageing squad that seems in decline, and Pogba is now a top target for the club as part of their rebuilding process.
According to the Daily Star, it could be that Manuel Pellegrini will try to tempt the Italian giants into letting the Frenchman go by offering both Edin Dzeko and Samir Nasri as part of the deal.
These two squad players have not really performed this season and could be surplus to requirements as the club ponder a number of major changes this summer.
