Dutch winger heading to Old Trafford.
Man United have reportedly agreed a deal to sign long term target Memphis Depay according to the Metro.
The 21 year old Dutch international has been linked with a move to Old Trafford for some months and it appears that Louis van Gaal has finally secured a deal to bring the PSV Eindhoven starlet to Man United.
Depay has been in fine form this term, netting 20 goals in domestic league action alone, helping Phillip Cocu’s side to secure the Eredivisie crown and though Liverpool were said to also be pursuing the adaptable attacker van Gaal appears to have won the race.
Van Gaal handed Depay a prominent role in his 2014 World Cup finals squad, despite his tender years, and the speedy winger rewarded that show of faith with a succession of strong displays and two goals during the tournament in Brazil last summer.
Interest in Depay may well leave record signing Angel di Maria concerned about his future at Man United with the Argentine already struggling to secure a regular run in van Gaal’s starting eleven in recent months.
