Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Atletico Madrid winger Antoine Griezmann this summer as Louis van Gaal eyes improvements on the flanks.
The Red Devils boss wants to strengthen in the attacking midfield department, with Angel Di Maria unconvincing since his big-money move from Real Madrid last summer.
Griezmann has shown plenty of quality since moving to Atletico from Real Sociedad, scoring 23 goals to follow up his 20 in all competitions last season.
The 24-year-old could be a good fit in the Premier League, and according to the Daily Star, van Gaal has requested United to make an offer for the in-form attacker.
The French international cost Atletico £24m to sign last summer, and the Spanish champions will not be under big pressure to sell the player so soon after bringing him into the Vicente Calderon.
With United also known to be tracking PSV wide-man Memphis Depay, it remains to be seen if the club will bring in both players.
