Old Trafford wide-man may be open to Goodison Park switch.
Everton are reportedly taking a keen interest in Man United winger Nani according to The Sun.
Louis van Gaal has made it clear the loaned out Portuguese international has no future at Old Trafford but Sporting Lisbon do not have the funds to meet Man United’s £15m valuation of the winger.
Nani has experienced a real return to form since returning to his former Primeira Liga side but is likely to return to Man United at the end of the current campaign.
Toffees boss Roberto Martinez is open to a move for Nani, especially given the uncertain future of Belgian wide-man Kevin Mirallas, and Nani may be tempted by a move to Goodison Park.
28 year old Nani has netted 11 goals in all competitions this term, including four during Sporting’s Champions League campaign, and in his pomp has proven a very effective Premier League performer.
Nani’s £110k a week salary could prove challenging for Everton though and the Man United man may have to consider a pay-cut in order to secure regular first team action.
