Twitter: Radamel Falcao sends goodbye message to Manchester United fans

On-loan Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao looked to have waved goodbye to Old Trafford in their final home game of the season versus Arsenal at the weekend, and his recent tweet seems telling that he will be leaving in the summer.

Falcao has disappointed tremendously in his season-long loan from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco – scoring just four Premier League goals – and Louis van Gaal has predictably been unconvinced in activating the offer to sign the forward on a permanent deal for £42.3m [via the Daily Star].

The Colombia international appeared emotional when substituted for Robin van Persie after the hour mark at the weekend, and his latest post on Twitter seems to be a final message to the Red Devils supporters.

The forward’s mother recently spoke out over the future of her son and, in quotes by the Guardian, hinted that she expects him to make another big-money move in the summer to resurrect his career.
