Roque Santa Cruz – Blackburn Rovers
The Paraguayan striker took no time at all to settle into the Premier League – and finished his debut season in England’s top flight with 19 goals. However, his form didn’t last beyond the season.
DJ Campbell – Blackpool
Despite suffering relegation, the Seasiders put up an inspired fight to avoid the drop, with DJ Campbell notching up 13 goals. To sum up his incredible fall from grace, however, he’s now playing for Conference South side Maidenhead United.
