CM – Jack Wilshere
Arsenal are rumoured to be readying a new deal that would see the England international double his current wages [via the Mirror], and Wenger will therefore expect a full season from the injury-plagued midfielder. His form has been impressive since his return to fitness – with his performance in an England shirt recently suggesting his confidence is high ahead of the 2015-16 campaign.
CM – Aaron Ramsey
The Wales international struggled with injury – like many of his team-mates – last term, but a Wilshere-Ramsey partnership in midfield is the most exciting potential British duo in the Premier League. If the pair can remain fully fit all season, Arsenal could expect plenty of goals from the centre of the park.
CAM – Mesut Ozil
The former Real Madrid star has come under criticism from the British press during his two seasons at the Emirates; however, his composure and ability on the ball was key to the Gunners’ surge up the table in the second-half of the season. Wenger, nonetheless, will expect more than five domestic assists from the 26-year-old in the 2015-16 campaign.
