Gunners will try for TWO Real Madrid players in £85m swoop.
Arsenal could be lining up an incredible double raid on Spanish giants Real Madrid this summer, according to various recent reports.
The Gunners have spent heavily on new signings in recent times, showing that they can be competitive in the transfer market again by bringing in big names like Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Petr Cech.
Arsene Wenger now has his eyes on a double raid on the Bernabeu, with the Frenchman set to massively improve his midfield and attack in one go.
The players in his sights are as follows:
1) Karim Benzema (£40m)
Firstly, a report in today’s Sun says that Arsenal are ready to start talks over a deal for French striker Karim Benzema next week, in a deal likely to cost the club around £40m, close to the record-breaking fee that brought Ozil to the Emirates Stadium. Liverpool and Manchester United are also known admirers of the 27-year-old.
