Anfield star Rickie Lambert on Carrow Road radar.

Liverpool are ready to sell forward Rickie Lambert with a host of sides tracking the veteran Anfield man according to the Daily Mirror.

The 33-year-old struggled to retain a foot-hold in Brendan Rodgers’ starting eleven last season and is likely to leave this summer following the signing of Danny Ings and likely capture of Aston Villa forward Christian Benteke.

Lambert was a prolific marksman throughout his career prior to his move to Anfield, netting 117 goals in five seasons for Southampton, but managed just three goals in 36 appearances for Liverpool.

Newly promoted Norwich City are the latest side to take an interest in Lambert though the likes of West Brom, Bournemouth and Aston Villa are also tracking the experienced England international, who could be available for a fee around the same as the £3m Liverpool paid a year ago.
