David Beckham names his choice for next Manchester United manager

Manchester United legend David Beckham has tipped his old team-mate Ryan Giggs to take over from Louis van Gaal as manager of the Red Devils in 2017.

The former England captain has hailed the amazing career of current assistant manager Giggs, who showed tremendous loyalty in spending his entire playing career at Old Trafford.

The 41-year-old also had a brief stint as caretaker manager of United after the sacking of David Moyes at the end of the 2013/14 season, and Beckham feels he could be ready to take the job full time in a couple of years, according to the Manchester Evening News.

“At some point, he will hopefully become United manager in the future,” Beckham said.
