Celtic hope to land Man United striker as youngster prepares for likely loan exit

Celtic have set their sights on Man United youngster James Wilson as the Parkhead side look to strengthen their attack according to the Daily Star.

The 20-year-old has found his first-team chances limited this term and Louis van Gaal may be open to loaning out the England Under 21 international in order to offer the striker some much needed senior experience.

Ronny Deila’s side find themselves behind Aberdeen in the Scottish Premiership table and the Norwegian may feel Wilson can offer a fresh option in the final third and a move to the Glasgow based side may tempt the young Old Trafford marksman.
