Marko Grujic – Red Star Belgrade to Liverpool

Sky Sports reports that the talented Serbian Under-21 midfielder was on Merseyside for a medical on Monday and should complete his £5.1m move to the Reds within the next 48 hours.

They also understand that the 19-year-old will return to Red Star Belgrade on loan for the rest of the season, although suggestions from Serbian outlet Mozzart Sport offer a contrary opinion.

Demarai Gray – Birmingham City to Leicester City

The high-flying Foxes have triggered the £3.7m release clause in Gray’s Birmingham City contract, and the 19-year-old winger underwent a medical at Leicester on Saturday, according to BBC Sport.

Premier League giants Arsenal and Liverpool had both been linked with a move for Gray by The Mirror, so it would represent a big coup for Claudio Ranieri’s men if they can get this deal over the line.

Jan Kirchhoff – Bayern Munich to Sunderland

The Black Cats have the worst defensive record in the Premier League and Sam Allardyce is making his back four a priority as he prepares them for a relegation fight in the second half of the season.

Sky Sports claims that Big Sam has set his sights on Bayern Munich’s Jan Kirchhoff and Queens Park Rangers’ Steven Caulker, who is on loan at Southampton. Kirchhoff will be easier to get over the line.

Steven Naismith – Everton to Norwich City

The Daily Mail claimed last week that the two clubs have agreed an £8m fee for the Scotland forward. Naismith may now simply be pondering whether his future lies at Goodison Park or Carrow Road.

He may be better off with the Canaries, who are in desperate need of a proven goalscorer, because his first-team opportunities with the Toffees have been limited to only four league starts this season.

Mohamed Elneny – FC Basel to Arsenal

Arsenal are close to sealing the signature of the Egyptian international, according to Sky Sports. The Gunners are understood to have agreed a fee of £7m with Swiss Super League-leaders Basel.

Elneny still needs to pass a medical and be given international clearance, but Arsenal will try to get this deal wrapped up as soon as possible because of their shortage of defensive midfielders.
