Man United to face massive European competition for £65m-rated Romelu Lukaku

Manchester United have been put on high alert after it emerged that they could face competition from Serie A giants Juventus in the race for the signature of Everton striker Romelu Lukaku, according to Italian publication Corriere dello Sport.

United have been heavily linked with a move for the Belgium international recently, but Juventus are also said to be keen and will make their own move for him should they offload Spanish international Alvaro Morata over the summer.

Lukakau’s future at Goodison Park has come into question recently after Toffees boss Roberto Martinez splashed out on Oumar Niasse from Lokomotic Moscow during the January transfer window.

And if Niasse makes a positive impact on Merseyside, we can likely expect to see rumours linking Lukakau with a lucrative move across the Pennines to Manchester.
