Diego Simeone wants to bring Marco Reus to Chelsea if he takes manager’s job

Borussia Dortmund playmaker Marco Reus could be on his way to Chelsea in the summer should Diego Simeone get his way and be appointed as Blues boss, according to Spanish publication Don Balon.

Simeone is a big admirer of the Germany international, and is said to be keen on bringing him to his next side having already lost out on his signature while at Atletico.

And now reports are emerging that he will attempt to bring Reus, along with Paris Saint Germain striker Edinson Cavani, to Stamford Bridge with him in time for next season.

Reus has long been linked with a move away from Dortmund having established himself as one of the world’s finest attacking midfielders, and is being tipped as the ideal candidate to replace the off-form Eden Hazard.

The Belgian international has been linked with an exit from Stamford Bridge this summer, with the likes of PSG and Real Madrid both vying for his signature.
