Liverpool are said to be targeting a move for AC Milan’s starlet goalkeeper Gianluigi Donnarumma, according to reports in Italian publication Tuttosport.
The teenager has exploded onto the scene this season at the tender age of 16 and has since emerged as one of football’s hottest properties with a number of big European sides believed to be keen on his signature.
The report claims that Liverpool are amongst his potential suitors, as are La Liga big guns Barcelona and Dutch giants Ajax.
But there is also other interest from the Premier League, too, with Manchester United and Chelsea also believed to be monitoring his progress.
However, the player’s agent has recently revealed that the youngster is worth an astounding £119million, thus calling into question Liverpool’s ability to push the move through.
