Video: Claudio Ranieri reduced to tears as Leicester City march on in Premier League title bid

Leicester City boss Claudio Ranieri couldn’t hold his emotions back on Sunday following his side’s 2-0 win over Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

A Jamie Vardy brace secured all three points for the Foxes, as they continue their relentless push towards a Premier League title.

The win moved Leicester 10 points ahead of Tottenham prior to their clash with Manchester United on Sunday, and the emotion of the game and result got the better of the Italian as his side continue to fight to secure what would be a stunning title triumph.

With just five games remaining for Ranieri’s side, they are now just three wins away from ending the season as champions as they continue to impress despite being under immense pressure.

The 64-year-old has seen his side keep five successive clean sheets, and it appears as though there is little that can be done to stop them from edging closer to their first ever Premier League title.

Leicester face West Ham United at home next weekend, before they host Swansea City at the King Power Stadium the following week.

However, it gets much tougher for them thereafter with clashes against Manchester United, Everton and Chelsea to end the season.

Nevertheless, depending on results elsewhere, they could wrap up the title before then, with the pressure now firmly back on Spurs to react.
