Gabriel Jesus: Who is the Brazilian wonderkid wanted by Manchester United, Barcelona, Real Madrid?

According to reports in Brazil, Manchester United have made a bid for Brazilian wonderkid Gabriel Jesus.

The Sun—quoting local source O Estadao de Sao Paulo—report that the Red Devils are keen on signing the 19-year-old, and that they just might be in the driving seat to see off interest from a whole host of high-profile rivals.

The report notes that the likes of Bayern Munich, Paris Saint-Germain, Real Madrid and Barcelona are all understood to be keen on the teenage starlet.

Intriguingly, the player has a £23.5 million buy-out clause, although the Brazilian heavyweights are understood to prefer to sell the player after this summer’s Olympics on home soil, a competition in which Jesus has been tipped to shine.

While the last high-profile Brazilian prospect to move to Old Trafford—Anderson—never truly realised his immense potential, Jesus’s early showings have suggested that he might just have the x-factor required to make it at the very top letter.

The forward—who has been likened to Neymar—is an expert dribbler, a majestic passer and has the kind of explosive acceleration that can take him away from judicious markers.

However, and this may come as something of a note of caution for the Red Devils, Jesus has a reputation as something of a temperamental character…Jose Mourinho will surely love that!
